Whether you’re a total beginner or a more advanced rider, we will make you a safe and independent kitesurfer, teaching you at your own pace and rhythm while having fun. To become an independent kitesurfer, generally you need approx 8 to 12 hours of lessons sometimes less.

LESSONS INCLUDE :
- IKO certified instructors
- IKO certification
- Insurance
- All equipment including North Kiteboarding and Mystic boarding : Board, kite, bar, harness, lifejacket, radio helmet and lycra.
- Third-party insurance covers damages or injuries that you cause to another person. The equipment is insured during lessons and supervision.
COURSE OF A LESSON:
Generally 2-hour lessons per day. You will learn how to set up your kite and all the safety rules. You will control the kite on the beach or in shallow water with short lines. You will learn how to body drag, first without the board and then with the board. Finally, you will train with longer lines and begin to water start. Then you will practice riding upwind. After some hours, you will be ready for supervision, where an assistant follows and assists you during your sessions.

PORTILLO
Welcome to our home base! This spot is excellent for both beginners and advanced riders, situated 5 kilometers from the town of Las Terrenas. With steady winds between 13 and 20 knots, calm and flat water, and a wide stretch of white sand beach, it’s truly the best hidden paradise for riders and families to enjoy beach time. It’s also a reproductive bay for many turtles.
PUNTA POPY
Opens up to one of the world’s biggest coconut groves. This beach, a bit more frequented due to its proximity to the center, is reserved exclusively for kite experts!
PLAYA COSON
A beach with 5 kilometers of beach breaks in the middle. The waves are fast and concave, also ideal for those who love to surf the pipe!
Recommended for experts. But when there’s no wind or waves, E-foils are out !
For independent riders we also offer downwind excursions and organised kite trips along all the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
